My name is Whitney Lutz, I am from a small town in Walsh Illinois surrounded by corn fields. I spent most of my childhood being outside on a bike or running. I ran all through school competing in cross country races. Due to injuries from running on asphalt and I now love to cycle and take hikes with my family and our dog Brick.
I met my husband Sean Lutz at the University of Southern Indiana where I double majored in Worksite Wellness/Health Promotion and Gerontology, I then decided to apply to the Occupational Therapy Assistance Program and found a love for functional movement therapy. I started my career in a hospital, working with people from all walks of life. Then moved to Bloomington Indiana where I worked in skilled nursing facilities learning lots about neuromuscular and cognitive/ behavior intervention.
I had my daughter Theo Lutz in August of 2020 where I began to have a passion in feeding therapy and gained an aspiration to work with children.
My husband Sean got a Job with Bowdoin College bringing our family to Brunswick Maine where I put that aspiration into motion by applying for a job at Kido Therapy and have no regrets.
