I am Ellen DeCoster, a seasoned Occupational Therapist and a graduate from the University of New England, with over 18 years of experience specializing in geriatric care, long-term rehabilitation, and healthcare leadership. I hold credentials as a Certified Case Manager and recently completed the Google Data Analytics Certificate to expand my ability to analyze trends and drive informed decisions in healthcare. I thrive on solving complex problems, supporting teams, and developing practical solutions that improve quality of life-for both clients and providers.
After living in several states and embracing a spirit of adventure, I've returned home to Maine to be closer to family. I'm a mother of two, a proud grandmother of two, and I have 2 dogs that keep me busy. I enjoy swimming, boating and find peace near the water. While much of my work has focused on older adults, I've also had the privilege of working with children and their families-helping young clients build skills, confidence, and independence. When I'm not working, you'll often find me crafting or exploring topics related to mindfulness, personal growth, and well-being. For me, life is about connection, curiosity, and showing up with both insight and purpose-whether it's for my clients, my community, or myself.
