Hi, I am originally from Scotland. I started coming to America in 1995 to work as a summer camp counselor. I moved to New York City in 2002 and eventually up to Albany, where I met my wife. We moved to Portland in 2014 and feel so lucky to be living and raising our family in Maine.
I have always enjoyed working with children and believe that they are here to teach us and help us remember what is truly important in life. While in Scotland, I studied elementary education and sports coaching. I obtained coaching certifications in various sports including swimming, tennis, badminton and football (soccer). I graduated in 2013 from Maria College in Albany with an Associates degree in Occupational Therapy. After graduating, I have worked primarily in Rehab and skilled nursing facilities in New York, Massachusetts and Maine.
I am the father of 2 very strong and independent girls! I enjoy coaching whatever sport my kids are involved in each season. Personally, I am very passionate about gardening and love being able to grow my own vegetables. When I do have free time, I also love swimming, surfing, hiking and playing football (soccer) and golf. I am so excited to be a part of the Kid O' Therapy team!
